Ron H. reviewed this product on 11/07/06 Got my new irons (left handed)about two weeks ago, went to the driving range a couple of days later and hit my seven iron 150 yards, rarely have I done that. Can't get my 9 iron under 125. They say that you need to relax and be comfortable when you play. Not only do these look good and feel good but they've brought back the confidence, I'm now hitting my 5 wood 210+. My 3, 5 and Driver are the System Q and now the set is complete. I also got the Tour Series 60 degree lob wedge, that was on sale, feels great. For the price and quality Pinemeadow can't be beat.
Delmer M. Lake reviewed this product on 11/04/06 Love these clubs, Played them today for the first time, after practicing one time. Played a par 58 course to try to get the yardages figured out, I am an 8 handycap, shot a 32 on the front, and a 28 on the back with 3 birdies for a 60. Haven't had a new set of irons for 15 years, I am totally happy with these clubs, would recommend pinemeadow products to anyone. Thank you, keep up the good work keeping golf affordable for us.
ED reviewed this product on 09/18/06 WOW what a diffrence, I was a 27 and with-in a month these clubs made me drop to a 16. When I hit these Q irons, the ball just jumps off the club! Thanks Pinemeadows and UPS for the great and fast service! P.S. I did up grade the shafts to the TX 90
Rick B. reviewed this product on 07/18/06 After going back and forth between the various Excel models, I had the chance to hit the TaylorMade r7s, and immediately ordered the Command Qs. At first glance the soles are a bit narrower than the r7s, but not by much. Otherwise, the profile is a dead ringer for the TaylorMades, and the mirror finish (much nicer than the satin finish in the pics) gives a classy look in the bag and at address. After some adjustment to the clubs (I'm 6'5", and this is my first fitted set), consisten crisp contact produced some amazing results: 145 yd 9 irons and the best long iron contact I've ever made. Very forgiving, but still with enough playability that I was able to shape shots when I wanted to. The heel and toe weighting works as advertised: off-center hits cost only a little distance. I can't wait to take them off the range and onto the course. I've already recommended these to several cohorts who are looking for new clubs.
Tom Radecki reviewed this product on 07/16/06 I got my Q irons on June 30 and played in a scramble so I wasn't pressured to hit them very well. I had to change my swing a little bit. The lie makes my backswing flatter because of the bounce on the toe. I usually hit down on the ball to give it spin. BUT, I found out in that round and in the next couple of rounds, that the club face give a lot of spin and the flatter swing gives me a better tempo. I'm litterally hitting the 9 iron 150 and spinning it back. I hit the 5 iron off the Tee about 220-230. I've always hit a 5 iron big and I get a few more yards with the Q. An AWSOME club for the price. I'm sold on all my Pinemeadow clubs I have. A full Q Iron set, a Acer XDS wedge and a Command Hybrid 3 Iron 19 deg. I play to a 10 and with the cost of new clubs today it's tough to buy a new Name Brand set. Thanks Pinemeadow
