patrick rated this product on 08/31/08 when looking at these irons in the pictures, they look like there not oversized. However once i took them out of the box i was very disappointed to see the size of them. They are oversized. I cannot hit them straight. I've gone golfing at least twenty times with them, and i've only had a handful of straight shots with them, and they were all with either the sand wedge, pitching wedge, nine iron, or eight iron. Anything above an eight iron I cannot hit straight with them. If you want to make the argument that its the opperator, then I will tell you that when I was using my other irons, I hit at least 90 percent of them straight. I would advise you not to buy these if you do not like oversized clubs.
Danny Teets rated this product on 08/30/08 I just received my new Command Q Irons on Friday and went out to the range Saturday morning. Purchased: Command Q's, 1 inch plus, TT Lite shafts, and Crossline Tour grips. I probably hit about 150 balls with them ranging from my 7 on through and all I can say is WOW! I think between switching from a double plane swing to a single plane swing and my new Command Q's, I hit them phenominal!!! I hit 90% of the balls straight down the fairway. I was consistantly hitting my 7 Iron to the 150 yard marker and my 5 around 200 yards plus. Keep in mind I have only been playing around 2 months now. I can't wait to hit the course to try them out. If you go to my review for the Command Q BK Hybrids, you will see how great of a company I feel Pinemeadow is. Chris and Pinemeadow is a first rate company that I will always purchase my irons from. Thanks Pinemeadow Golf!
Brian rated this product on 08/25/08 Great clubs. Have been playing all summer and have been great. Very forgiving, good for beginners. Excellent price and quality. Great customer service too. Highly recommended.
Jake Smith rated this product on 08/20/08 I'm a mediocre golfer; I've been hacking away for about 45 years now with hand-me-down clubs of one sort or another. Last year I decided to bite the bullet and get something decent, so I bought a set of Command Q irons. Well, lo and behold -- equipment does matter! These clubs have much better feel than anything I've used before, they're more forgiving (I'm not chunking the ball nearly as much as before, for example), and I find I'm hitting them about 10 yards farther (i.e., I can now hit a 9 as far as I used to hit an 8, and so on). The moral of the story is that a good set of clubs can bring dramatic improvement even for an 18+ handicapper like me.
Diego rated this product on 08/18/08 These clubs are great. The ball goes much further than with my gramp's set, i'm also a bit more accurate and consistent. I consider myself a beginner (playing for 6 months) and after my first round with this set, my score improved by 10 strokes. I have also noticed that the 6 iron has a dull sound to it, but it still hits great. I still can't hit well with the 3 iron... but i think that's a personal problem... Definitely recommend this to everyone.
